Curated over the course of our two year art group, Great Green Things is a mixed media book containing original poetry, personal narratives, photography, and illustrations from artists including m.burkes, Miranda Gibson, AC, Sasha Prince, C-Tro, and Mezzy.

This work is a collection of both abstract and confessional poetry that investigates the nature of language over the loose backdrop of los angeles. it explores dystopian themes amidst urban decay & possibly the decay of communication.

About the Author
​
m.burkes is a poet and collage artist. He has a background in 20th century poetry, studying English literature and art history at University of Oxford and obtained his degree in literature from Bard College. An original member our community since day one, Matt has co-facilitated our creative writing groups and facilitated collage workshops.
